I spent the last several days attending the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas. I know, I know, it’s a rough life…
But let me tell you! I was blown away by all the cool baby and kids stuff that I saw.
Two massive floors full of baby gear, toys, clothes, maternity stuff, breastfeeding accessories, etc!
Almost anything and everything you can imagine.
The coolest part was exploring all the new items that are coming on the market soon or just hit the market this year.
I compiled a list of the coolest baby items you need (You can read that, here) in a recent post but this list here is just for the breastfeeding and pumping moms!
There was a TON of breastfeeding items so it was hard to narrow it down!
Stay tuned as I get my hands on these items for full in-depth reviews!
Best New Breastfeeding Products You Need to Have
Cake Lingerie Tea and Sugar Candy Nursing Bras
If you have read any of my Nursing Bra reviews, then you know what a huge fan I am of Cake Lingerie! One thing that makes this company stick out in my book is that they design bras for all body types.
As a nursing mom with larger breasts, finding a supportive, well-fitting nursing bra is not easy. Cake Lingerie has been one of the few that I have found work with larger breasts.
I had the opportunity to see these two bras at the Expo and was very impressed!
These are both full coverage nursing bras with amazing support and are so comfortable!
They are perfect to wear even during pregnancy!
I can’t wait to share with you my full review of these two amazing bras! Stay tuned!
The Sonata. Wow.
I have heard a lot about the Sonata and done some reading but nothing was like seeing this baby in action!
Medela had a huge booth at the Expo and it’s newest labor of love, the Sonata was on full display.
This amazing pump was in the works for years and really is one of the most exciting breast pumps to come out this year. It features the same pump technology as their hospital grade performance stand-out, the Medela Symphony.
It integrates with an amazing app, the MyMedela app which tracks your pumping sessions and baby’s growth.
The Sonata features a touchscreen, multiple rhythms to choose from for the best pumping experiences, a rechargeable battery, and is seriously the quietest breast pump I have come across. I had to put my ear to the pump to even hear the slightest noise.
I was thrilled to be able to get my hands on the Sonata and I was blown away by it! You can read about my adventures with the Sonata, here!
Udderly Hot Mama Nursing and Pumping Wear
If you are looking for stylish and functional nursing clothes, this line is amazing!
Half the time when you need to pump or nurse, you almost have to undress in order to avoid ripping your clothes.
Udderly Hot Mama makes their nursing garments with an insert that pulls down to allow for discreet feeding and easy access for pumping.
Even celebrity moms have sported Udderly Hot Mama’s look including Lisa Ling, Ali Landry, Eden Reigel, Shanola Hampton and Dancing with the Stars‘ Anna Trebunskaya!
One of the best parts about Udderly Hot Mama? The inserts are removable so once you are done breastfeeding, you can take it out and continue to wear the garments like any other everyday wear!
I love the idea of functional nursing clothes that won’t have to be thrown out along with the maternity clothes.
The Feeding Friend is one of those products that you wish you had known about sooner. It is a wedge-shaped nursing support pillow that self-inflates making it super portable.
I know that we all have been in situations when out and about where we had to nurse our babies or hold them to give them a bottle without any support at all.
Not only does your arm get tired but it pulls on your back, shoulders, and neck.
The Feeding Friend is a great solution for that! I love that it self-inflates (can you imagine having to blow it up each time haha).
It is not available in the US as of yet (it is out of Australia) but hopefully we will see it stateside soon!
This product is extremely exciting!
As a pumping mom, wasting precious breastmilk is something that most of us would cry over. How many times have you or a caregiver given your baby a bottle of breastmilk only for your baby to drink half?
Because of the possibility of bacteria growth from baby’s backwash, we then have to pour those precious ounces of liquid gold down the drain. Ouch.
aLoo is looking to change that.
It is a device that fastens to the cap/nipple of a bottle and prevents 99.6% of backwash from contaminating the unfinished breastmilk.
I want to cry thinking about how many bottles this tiny little cap would have saved me from throwing out!
aLoo is available now for pre-order and will be hitting the market soon!
Renegade Mama Affirmation Cards
If you are looking for something truly unique, these mothering and breastfeeding affirmation cards are something to check out!
There are 52 cards total that focus on the first year after your baby is born and helps to bring positive thoughts in to reprogram the negative ones.
It can help you change the way you think about motherhood, your postpartum body, breastfeeding, and more.
I love, love the idea of these cards and having them on hand to remind me that motherhood is beautiful!
Lacti-Cups & Storage Bags
I completely missed the boat on products like this and honestly had no idea it even existed! Have you heard of Lacti-Cups?
You know how you can be walking through Target (where we moms go to roam when childless) and you hear another baby or think about your own baby and suddenly your milk is letting down and your shirt is wet?
Did you know you can actually SAVE that milk???
Lacti-Cups are soft shells that are made to be worn during the day and allow you to catch any milk that leaks. You can transfer that milk to storage bags to feed later.
They are also a great solution for sore nipples as it keeps your nipples from rubbing on your bra.
These would even be amazing to use when nursing! I always leaked on the opposite side when nursing my baby. This is an easy way to collect a few extra ounces.
Pello Comfy Cradle
The Pello Comfy Cradle is an arm support pillow that is portable, reversible, and washable.
It is amazingly soft!
It is small enough to fit in your diaper bag but structured enough to provide good support for your baby’s head while you are breastfeeding.
The colors and patterns to choose from for this pillow are so cute!
Pello also has a line of floor pillows that are honestly like touching clouds. They are incredibly soft! Perfect for lounging babies and toddlers! (You can see those, here)
If you have not heard of Mimijumi Bottles, let me introduce you!
These bottles are amazing! They truly mimic the breast.
The nipple looks and acts like a breast which helps minimize nipple confusion.
Baby can actually control the milk flow by latching on and suckling just like they would at the breast.
I am blown away by these bottles and how much they can help breastfed babies (and moms) by avoiding the issue of nipple confusion!
Petunia Pickle Bottom – Parkway Pump Tote
If you are in love with Petunia Pickle Bottom, then this will make you very excited – They have a Pump Tote!
It is specific to the Medela Pump in Style.
This bag is beautiful! It is one of the best looking pump bags I have seen. Extremely well made!
One of the best parts about it is that once you are done using it as a pump bag, the insert can be removed and you can use it as a regular tote bag.
It is not sold in stores and the only way you will find it is through their partners at 1 Natural Way and Byram Healthcare.
I hope to see this bag and more from Petunia hit the market one day soon because this bag is amazing!
Pin it for Later!
